Kurangani forest fire: Nivya Nikruth from Chennai succumbs to injuries

The death toll in the forest fire that engulfed the Kurangani hills in Theni on March 11 has increased to 20 as two women succumbed to burn injuries on Friday. While Sai Vasumathi from Thanjavur died at a private hospital in Madurai, another 24-year-old woman named Nivya Nikruthi from Chennai also passed away. Nikruthi was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Madurai.
