A farmer named Nambiyar collapsed and died in his paddy field in Attapatti village near Melur in Madurai district as he was broken after 60% of the crops were charred due to lack of water. While the tragedy left the family battered, another shocking incident struck the family. Nambiyar’s son Nallasamy suffered a heart attack and died during the funeral of his father. Nallasamy has a wife named Poomalai, son Yuvraj and daughter Aathirai.
