IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals sported a pink jersey during their match against Chennai Super Kings on Friday. RR, who usually wear a blue jersey, donned the pink jersey to increase awareness about cancer.
At the toss, RR captain Ajinkya Rahane said, "We are supporting cancer patients (on wearing pink jersy). It is a great initiative by Rajasthan Royals. It is for all the people in Rajasthan to go out there and get a health check up every six months. We are all happy to support it."
Notably, the South African cricket team has been doing this for years to increase awareness about cancer as well.
