During the third ODI that took place yesterday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground between India and Australia, Glenn Maxwell made a huge blunder that changed the entire game.

The Aussie all-rounder, who was in a comfortable position, ended up dropping the catch of MS Dhoni's. Dhoni had just walked in after the dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan and on his very first ball he could have gotten himself out had Maxwell not caught the ball.

Maxwell's huge blunder allowed Dhoni to stand till the end and lead India to a comfortable win. The Aussie's drop irked cricket fans all over the world, who took to social media to rant.

However, Maxwell did not lose hope. Taking to his official Twitter handle, he shared a video of Haidee Birkett, a female Australian cricketer playing the Women's Big Bash League Season. Birkett ended up with a brilliant catch during the last ball. Maxwell shared the video along with a caption, "Any tips appreciated Haidee 🙏 #butterfingers #catcheswinmatches (sic)"
