According to a Deccan Chronicle report, a 40-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a 22-year-old Nepali girl by promising her a job in Bengaluru. Reports say, the accused promised the victim hailing from Bengaluru to get a household job and she was taken to a hotel room where she was raped on the promise of marriage. However, when the woman learnt that he was already married, she filed a complaint with the police.
