On Sunday night, an ailing Sameena Sultana and her five-year-old son, Shoaib walked into the doors of Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad. In just half an hour, the woman died of cardiac arrest, but the little boy refused to move away and slept next to her body. Sameena’s husband had deserted them three years ago and hence Shoaib was handed over to his uncle with the help of the police.
