Resul Pookutty's next with director T.R Bala

T.R Bala, a former associate director is now set to shoot his first feature film in Tamil titled '46'. The film is set to go on floors from today. Resul Pookutty an Oscar-winning sound designer working on this project made an official announcement on his twitter handle to express his happiness about the project.

"Starting to shoot my new Tamil film with a bunch of enthusiastic,raring to go cinema possessed mad fellas, Sir, need your blessings! @rajinikanth @Siva_Kartikeyan"

Resul Pookutty criticizes National Awards Ceremony and governnment

The controversy over how a fraction of the total 140 National Film Awards have been selectively allocated to be presented by the President of India is flaring up - and many films celebs are expressing their opinions on the issue.

National Award and Oscar winner Resul Pookutty posted a tweet, which read:

"#I&BMinistry learn some lessons from #Govt.OfMaharashtra how they conducted the #StateFilmAwards few days ago!Impeccable show by @Dev_Fadnavis &his colleagues.We feel proud in receiving the state gesture.Don’t discriminate the http://awardees.No “nation” in National Award."
