Jeeva’s
upcoming ‘E’ has mind-boggling
and gravity defying stunts – thanks
to Jeeva’s relentless gymnastic and
acrobatic practices. Director Jananathan
promises that the movie will feature astonishing
fight sequences with a touch of reality.
Well, the news here is about Jeeva who encountered
a hell of a day during one such shoots.
The
crew was shooting a stunt sequence
in the bridge across the river Palar
in the outskirts of Chennai. The elaborate
shoot went on for four days. One shot
required Jeeva to be suspended from
a steel rope above the rail tracks
on the bridge. After the successful
completion of the shots, the rope
did not come down as planned neither
did it go up leaving Jeeva in mid
air. On top of that, the train was
fast approaching.
Stunt master Michael Raj came to the
rescue of Jeeva climbing on top of
the bridge and ripping the rope off
his body.
The
train raced by just after Jeeva was rescued
leaving the entire crew breathless for a
moment. Jeeva escaped unscathed but sure
have had the near death experience of his
life.
