Vishal
is getting himself ready for Diwali.
He is preparing to offer Tamil movie
viewers a memorable gift for this
festival season. Sivappathigaram being
directed by Karu Palaniappan is slated
for a Diwali release. The director
has already proved himself with the
hit and critically acclaimed Parthipan
Kanavu. Sivappathigaram will however
be a change of genre for the director.
It is reportedly an action-oriented
film. The inspiring couplet by the
legendary poet Bharathidasan urging
one to put an end to all injustice
forms the central theme of the movie.
Mamtha,
actress from Kerala makes her Tamil debut
with this movie. The movie has got itself
popular in the trade circles, more so after
the success of Thimiru. Much is expected
from the director and Vishal who will be
looking to make it four in a row. Though
an out and out action film, the movie is
said to carry just one fight sequence; that
is a novelty in itself. Looks like this
movie will be worth a watch this festival
season.
