Sahadevan
and Mahadevan are twin overweight actors
who have appeared in many films and tele-serials
either together or alone. They were capitalizing
on their portly looks to evoke laughter.
They have even campaigned for AIADMK in
the Lok Sabha elections. They have been
obese right from their childhood.
Out
of the twins, Sahadevan is married
to Fathima and they have a five-year-old
son by name Prabhakar. Recently the
family was in Coimbatore to attend
a wedding. There, Sahadevan developed
some health complications and passed
away in a private hospital. The family
is too shattered by the incident.
They are in such a poor state that
they were not able to bring the body
to Chennai as per his wife’s
wish. They approached actor Sarathkumar
who is the president of Nadigar Sangam
to bail them out of the situation.
Sarathkumar explained to them that
it would not be possible for Nadigar
Sangam to intervene and help immediately
but all the same volunteered to help
them from his side.
His
fan club at Coimbatore was contacted and
the Sarath Fan Club president, Mr Kambar
had arranged the body to be brought to Chennai
in a vehicle with icebox. They have also
helped the family financially.
