Krishna
– director of SOK - has generated
a smash response for his debut film.
Were you wondering where this whiz
kid came from, and what he’s
been up to until now? Are you dying
to know about his past? Well there’s
nothing scandalous to report (for
those of you who like that sort of
stuff) – but he’s not
completely new to the world of “lights,
camera, action.”
Do you remember Vivek’s dialogues
and the riotous laughter scene in
Minnale, when he and Madhavan met
with an accident while riding a two-wheeler
that crashed into a lorry? Well, you
could have blinked and missed him,
but Krishna was the lorry driver who
joked with Vivek. Surprised?
Krishna
– as you may know – also assisted
Gowtham in Kakka Kakka. So how did he manage
to pull off this big-banner movie, complete
with star-spangled cast and first grade
technicians (including A. R. Rahman no less!)?
Well, the winner of a script was obviously
a factor. SOK is generating enthusiastic
responses in the A centers and may well
move on to next status. Only time will tell
– but we’ll know soon enough.
