Looks
like Kamal has decided upon his next flick
after Dasavatharam. You might as well remember
the reports carried by us with regard to
Kamal’s next venture listing the possible
bidders in the race. We have news that Saran
has bagged the contract of directing Kamal’s
next movie.
When
we caught up with Saran he was busy
behind the camera for his ‘Vattaram’
starring Arya and Napoleon in the
lead. So is the news right? He immediately
acknowledged the news stating that
he is happy to be directing Kamal
for his next film after Dasavatharam.
The movie will be produced by Gemini
productions, which is eventually owned
by him.
He is obviously elated about this
venture and states that he feels it
is an honor for his home production
to have Kamal on board.
He
is full of praises for Kamal and exclaims
that Kamal has no airs and is a pure professional
when it comes to matters relating to work.
He is absolutely down to earth and has granted
an opportunity for a budding producer like
me, he exhilarates. We share a great level
of comfort in the work front and have no
egos whatsoever, Saran adds.
So
what is the movie all about? Now that
Lage Raho Munnabhai – sequel
to Munnabhai MBBS- has hit the screens,
is there another remake on the cards
for Vasoolraja MBBS? No, he was quick
enough to reply, we have no plans
for another remake as such. We had
to do compromise ourselves for Vasoolraja
and do not intend to redo Lage Raho,
Saran asserts.
That ends all the speculations surrounding
Kamal’s next venture. This will
be the second movie for the Kamal
– Saran team.
Though
Saran has not revealed the plot of the movie,
we do not suppose it would be a laugh riot
like Munnabhai MBBS since Kamal’s
Dasavatharam has enough elements of laughter.
If it is not so, we will have a back to
back ride of two Kamal comedies, i.e. Dasavatharam
and Saran ’s new flick, we meant.
