Mandira
Bedi of TV soaps fame constructed herself
a career in the field of cricket commentary
and was surely noticed not for her talents
in cricket or commentary but rather for
her spaghetti straps and translucent designer
saris. Young lads who missed the matches
mourned much for missing her in the ‘Extraa
Inninigs’ show that she hosted rather
than the matches.
She
is back again with the team of ‘Extraa
Innings’ and will be seen hosting
the forthcoming ICC Trophy 2006 to
be telecast on MAX. This time around,
along with Chaaru Sharma – the
famous commentator, Chocolate faced
Rohit Roy and TV star Shonali Nagarani
will also be seen alongside Mandira
as hosts in Extra Innings.
Mandira is all excited about the show
this year and exhilarated that it
was a learning experience for her
when the show was held in London in
2004.
She
looks forward the show this year with bated
breath, well so do we but more for her costumes.
So what is she sporting this year? Spaghetti
straps again? She refuses to disclose anything
and even her stylist. She probably wants
us to keep guessing as to what she will
wear this season. She could perhaps make
saris a designer statement, who knows.

This boy for sure will be an Extraa
Innings in terms of cricket and entertainment.
We are sure Mandira has brushed her
cricket knowledge this time though.
