Prashanth’s wife Grahalakshmi
sought an amount of Rs one lakh per
month for the maintenance of herself
and her kid from him. She had filed
a case in the family court in Chennai
requesting them to direct Prashanth
to compensate her for all her tribulations.
Grahalakshmi in her petition has stated
that her husband and in-laws had never
visited her in her mother’s
place where she went for confinement.
She also claims that she has been constantly harassed
by her in-laws to bring in more money. According
to her she had to incur a lot of expenses during
her pregnancy which was paid by her father. “Neither
Prashanth nor his parents came to visit me after
my delivery. There was absolutely no response
to my mails either”, she adds. She asserts
that Prashanth can pay this amount very easily
as he earns to the tune of one crore per month
from his films and television ventures. Meanwhile,
it was stated that Prashanth has filed a case
for visitation rights to his child.
