Recently,
on the new-year eve, after completing
their commitments for a private channel
for the new-year day programme, Sneha
and Sandhya were returning on the
east coast road at night. Sneha’s
car was proceeding first followed
by Sandhya’s at the back. Everything
was fine for some time till Sandhya’s
car entered a ditch when she was not
able to travel any further despite
persistent efforts by her driver.
She and her mom had managed to get out of the
car and tried to get some help. Meanwhile, Sneha
who sensed some trouble had alighted from her
car and reached the spot where Sandhya was standing.
Sighting two young heroines on the road and that
too at night, words spread like wild fire and
people had started gathering in large numbers.
The two actresses became very jittery but the
people from the nearby village managed to pull
the car from the ditch with their tools and Sandhya
heaved a big sigh of relief seeing her car once
again on the road. They thanked the villagers
for the timely help and left the place. Recounting
this incident later, Sandhya is full of praise
for the villagers and Sneha who gave her the moral
support. According to her no amount of words can
help her express her feeling of gratefulness to
the villagers. A timely help indeed…
