Seems
like Kollywood is on a spree of making
movies based on the life of legendary
leaders of Tamil Nadu. After Periyar,
it is time for Anna’s life to
be retold in celluloid. The movie
is proposed to be produced in a big
budget by Sengai Cine Arts. To raise
money for the huge production expenses,
the company has released advertisements
seeking monetary help from the public.
Now it is learnt that an NRI has extended his
financial assistance in producing the movie. He,
as it seems, has requested Sengai Cine Arts not
to disclose his identity and asked them to approach
Kamal to don the role of Anna.
Sources from Sengai Cine Arts confirmed that if
the discussions were successful and Kamal decided
to take up the role, the movie would be kicked
off on September 15th – on Aringar Anna’s
birthday – with a formal pooja. Will Kamal
