who struck gold with his E in 2006
had earlier made heads turn with his
Iyarkai – which narrated the
story of people in the coastal Andaman
Islands. With the success of his out
of the ordinary E, the director’s
confidence is geared up and he is
all set for his next venture.
Talking to newspersons in this regard,
he stated;
My E broke all the misconceptions that science
fiction movies would not work in Tamil cinema.
I am receiving constructive criticism for the
movie ever since.
Jana further stated that his next venture would
be an action-based flick. On the other hand, he
is also busy researching ancient literatures.
The reason? I wish to direct a romantic epic in
Tamil like Titanic and in search of famous plots
from history.
