Sampath is slowly but
steadily gaining a strong foothold in Kollywood
these days. His roles in Chennai 600028, Saroja,
Goa and Asal are worth mentioning. He can
perform as a deadly villain or a character
artiste with élan.
The actor in a recent interview to a Tamil
daily has said that he is still waiting for
good roles to come by. Till then, Sampath
intends to give his undivided attention to
the roles that are offered to him. He was
also quoted as saying that director Venkat
Prabhu, while dubbing for Saroja, told him
that none of the directors, including himself,
have utilized the actor’s talent to
the fullest.
