The elections for the
Producers’ Council have been scheduled
to be held on July 11th. This was disclosed
at a meeting, chaired by the current President
of the Council, recently. The resolution was
also passed to the effect that only the permanent
members of the Council will be allowed to
cast their votes. There was also an appeal
that all the non-permanent members to register
themselves as permanent members on or before
June 15th. Producer AVM Murugan has been appointed
as the election officer.
Those present at the meeting included Anbalaya
Prabhakaran, SA Chandrasekar, VC Guhanathan,
TG Thyagarajan, PL Thenappan, Mohan Natrajan,
and H Murali.
