Thanks to the FEFSI President
VC Guhanathan’s initiative, the FEFSI
building will henceforth house the Kalaignar
Library. He has donated books worth Rs. 1
lakh to the library which was inaugurated
to mark the 87th birthday of the Chief Minister
of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi. Books and novels
by several noted authors will be a part of
this library. The members of the 23 associations
in Kollywood were present during the inauguration
of this library.
Further, the FEFSI is also organizing the
Kalaignar Yezthu Medai – a training
session for aspiring writers. Several noted
film personalities including Balu Mahendra
and Kamal Haasan will share tips on writing.
