Morning raga, a movie on classical music,
starring Shabana Azmi and Perishad Sorobian
has been short listed for the best foreign
movie category. The movie was produced
by a Telugu producer, K.Raghavendra Rao.
His
son Prakash Rao acted in the lead role.
The movie which was critically acclaimed
is said have its dolby sound effect mixed
at Prasad Studios, Chennai. The studio
management has conveyed its happiness
over the fact that a movie whose sound
effects they had done is being short listed
for Oscars. With very few movies from
Tamil going on for the Oscars, this indeed
is a big achievement.
