By Behindwoods News Bureau.
March 03, 2007
Mumbai stamp paper department has sent legal notices to 168 actors that include Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Akshay Kumar and others. When actors agree to do a movie, they and the producers would have to sign on the legal stamp papers.

Both the actor and producer need to share the cost of the stamp paper. It is learnt that there has been some irregularities on the part of the actors in their recently signed movies. Talking to the media, collector of the Mumbai stamp paper department said "We have sent legal notice to 168 actors of which only two of them replied. We shall send the second notice very soon and are expecting replies from them. We will be forced to move through courts and police if we do not hear from them". This new controversy has created a panic wave in the film industry. There are also unconfirmed reports that a few of the south Indian actors are also in the list.
