Why Akshay decided to cut short his holiday?
June 24, 2009

Akshay Kumar is known for not attending any of the premières of his film. The Bollywood star is so superstitious that he makes it a point to fly out of the country during his film’s release and lands back on the next day.

However, the actor has changed this trend for his Kambakkht Ishq, which is due to release on July 3rd. Akshay was suppose to land in Mumbai on July 4th, but will arrive on June 30th. The actor is currently in the US, holidaying with wife Twinkle and son Aarav.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor, Akki’s co-star in Kambakkht Ishq said, “Akshay is one of my favorite co-stars and Kambakkht Ishq is one of his best till date. He's got all the ingredients to make a super film.”

Akshay is desperately in need of a hit after two of his films - Chandni Chowk To China and 8X10 Tasveer – bombed at the box office.
