Following his alleged controversial remarks about the Prophet Mohammed, Shahrukh is issued with two separate fatwas by religions centers in Bareilly. Protests were also held against the actor with the protestors burning the actor’s effigies in Mumbai. The fatwas were issued to him to condemn his remarks about Prophet Mohammed in the July issue of the ‘Time and Style’ magazine, it is learnt.

The clerics also announced that his nikah and his relationship with his wife would be considered illegal. A public apology was also demanded from the actor failing which, the clerics noted, the author would not be provided a place in the graveyard.
