Nadigar Sangam’s requests to CM and DCM
June 22, 2009

The newly elected members of Nadigar Sangam met the Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi and the deputy CM MK Stalin yesterday at the party headquarters Anna Arivalayam. Speaking to the media persons later, the president of the Nadigar Sangam said that the entire team of elected representatives met the CM to put forth various demands.

According to Sarath, the CM had announced a 20-acre land in 1996 to construct houses for underprivileged actors. The team reminded the CM of this issue. The wish list also consisted of a request to consider including representatives of the Nadigar Sangam in the recently constituted committee to reassess the decision on tax cuts.
