Andrea said that Malai Nerathu
Mayakkam has been dropped. The actress
stated that the film’s director,
Selvaraghavan has other commitments
and hence decided to drop the project.
There was a buzz in Kollywood that
soon after Aayirathil Oruvan; Selvaraghavan
would start off with Malai Nerathu
Mayakkam. The director’s brother
and actor Dhanush was signed up
to play the lead role and Andrea
was booked to play the female lead.
Noted director Kasturiraja was supposed
to have produced the film.
Selvaraghavan will now direct a
Telugu film followed by a Bollywood
flick. It is expected that he would
return to the Tamil film circuit
after completing these two projects.
