The Dasavatharam effect!

Himesh Reshammiya might have seen just a little bit of what Kamal is capable of while working for Dasavatharam (just a tip of the iceberg), but that does seem to have inspired him to take up something more challenging. After all, it is not very often in your career that you see a legend of an actor who can sing 'Oh! Oh! Sanam' in style and then

bring out the croaky voice of a 95-year-old for 'Mukundha Mukundha'.

So, the new and inspired Himesh Reshammiya is now taking his next step in acting. Some of you might not be aware that Himesh Reshammiya is now a sought-after actor in Bollywood after his debut film Aap Kaa Suroor went on to become a big hit in 2007. Right now, he has at least three films in the making. Also, he is gearing up to do his first double role in a movie called Hey Gujju!

The title itself suggests that he plays two people from Gujarat and reports are that the two characters will be very different. One an orthodox simple Gujarathi, while the other will be an NRI. There are also reports that the movie will feature two new faces as the leading ladies, which is supposedly a tradition for Himesh Reshammiya films! Wonder how it became a tradition when this guy is just one film old!
