Though his most recent release AAA failed at the box office, Mani Ratnam signed up STR for Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, and the Manmadhan star has been in the limelight ever since. With many projects in the pipeline, here's another biggie!
A close source informs us that STR will be teaming up with director Venkat Prabhu for his next film. Though they have been friends for a long time, this is the first time the super-fun director will be teaming up with Simbu and it looks like an exciting project is on the cards. Further details about the film will be officially announced very soon.
Tik Tik Tik starring Jayam Ravi has released today (June 22). It happens to be India’s first ever space film. A lot of people have been appreciating the massive attempt. Director Venkat Prabhu is a happy man as the product is from his former assistant director, Shakti Soundar Rajan. Praising the team, Venkat Prabhu took to Twitter and said:
“Great attempt @ShaktiRajan the first Indian space film!!! Nice Cg!! Sci fi with Indian touch!! Hats off to the team #tiktiktik @actor_jayamravi pinnitey machi and awesome background score @immancomposer please watch it in theatres for a new experience in Tamil cinema!!”.
