Director Karthik Subbaraj's latest film Mercury - a silent flick starring Prabhudeva - released in Tamil Nadu today, April 20. Director Venkat Prabhu tweeted his words of appreciation for the movie just a while ago:

Karthik Subbaraj's Mercury has got a decent hold of shows in its theatres in the Chennai City region. As per the analysis made by Behindwoods Box Office Wing, this Prabhu Deva starrer has approximately collected 2.09 crores, by the end of its second weekend. The film has got an 'above average' verdict, holding 78 shows.
Considering one week of delayed release in Chennai and throughout Tamil Nadu, the film's box office numbers are promising.
