The bull owned by Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar died in the field where the bull-taming sport Jallikattu was happening. The sport was going on in Viralimalai near Pudukottai when the bull - Komban hit a tree near the Vadivasal accidentally. The bull which was apparently never tamed died on the spot. It was cremated at the field owned by the Minister.
