The St Joseph's hospice in Palaswaram village of Kancheepuram district has been ordered to shut down by the Revenue Divisional Officer. The order has come days after the hospice was involved in transporting a dead body and two senior citizens in a van full of vegetables. Reportedly, the hospice does not have a license to run and almost 86 senior citizens are being kept there against their consent.
