After four days from attack with acid, lab assistant Yamuna succumbed to her injuries on Friday. Even though she had been responding well to treatment, her situation worsened on Friday night and she eventually died. Yamuna sustained 46% burns after the proprietor of the diagnostic clinic she was working for, allegedly poured surgical spirit on her.
