Makkal Needhi Maiam founder Kamal Haasan on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led central government for not constituting the Cauvery Management Board as ordered by the Supreme Court. The actor-turned-politician also alleged that upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections are the reason behind all the drama. He wrote on Twitter, “We share river waters with Pakistan & Bangladesh. Why can't we do it between States within our country? Delay in setting up of Cauvery water board is not incompetence but despicable politics . Musical chairs being played with an eye on Karnataka's Chair.”
