A van full of children belonging to Vivekanandha Vidhyalaya in Ayakudi, a town near Palani was abandoned by the driver on an unused part of a railway track after he saw a goods train approaching. The driver had hoped to cross the track before the train could near, but the van got stuck and so he ran away. Miraculously, the train driver noticed the van and stopped the train before it could cause any damage.
