National Organisation of Bank Workers on Wednesday reportedly claimed that the Punjab National Bank has transferred close to 18,000 of its employees after the Rs 11,300 crore scam came to light. The move comes after the Central Vigilance Commission on Monday directed all the public sector banks to transfer the officers who have completed three years in a branch as on December 31, 2017. However, PNB has not officially confirmed the transfers, while maintaining that the transfers are routine.
