The ruling AIADMK on Thursday convened an all party meeting to discuss the next steps on the Cauvery water dispute following the Supreme Court’s latest verdict on the issue. Headed by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, three resolutions were passed in the meeting. It was decided to urge the Centre to constitute Cauvery Management Board and Cauvery Water Regulatory Authority within six months from February 16, 2018, when the SC delivered the verdict. In the meeting held at the chief secretariat, the government also decided to agree in total the demands made by all parties and consult with legal experts on all aspects, reports added.
