According to a report by The Hindu, a Class 12 girl from Devirahalli near Pochampally in Krishnagiri district committed suicide on Tuesday after being harassed by two boys in the classroom. The two boys tore up her examination hall ticket and books on Monday, the report said. One of the boys also reportedly harassed her to accept his love proposal. While police nabbed the two boys for inquiry, the relatives of the 17-year-old victim staged a protest demanding action against the boys, the report added.
