According to reports, Seethala Devi, the daughter of VK Sasikala's elder sister Vanithamani, and her husband Baskaran have been sentenced to three and five years jail terms respectively. The CBI filed chargesheet against them in the disproportionate assets case. While the Madras High Court had earlier confirmed their sentences, the two were reportedly absconding. However, they surrendered before the CBI court on Monday and were sent to jail.
