A 35-year-old woman identified as Muthulakshmi was severely injured after she was attacked with a sickle by a thief who was enraged as she prevented him from snatching her cell phone. The victim has been admitted to the government hospital where she is undergoing treatment. The incident was reported in Jaihindpuram, Madurai.
