The RCB fans wouldn't believe what they have just witnessed. Getting bowled out for 70 in just 17.1 overs is definitely what anyone was expecting in the first game of this game which is the 6th lowest score in IPL cricket.

Midinnigs report CSK vs RCB

Today's pitch is probably not what T20 fans wanted since the ball was turning square and the batsman almost had no chance. Having said that the RCB batsman have not really been smart in their approach.

Virat Kohli and AB De Villers could have assessed the pitch a bit better and could have targeted getting a 130-140 score rather than going for the big shots early on in the innings. The much hyped about Simron Hetmyer also got caught up in a horrible mix up with Parthiv Patel, getting run out for no score. 10 out of their 11 batsmen scored in single digits which did not help either

CSK, on the other hand, have made use of winning the toss and were right on the money from ball one. Except for the no-ball from Deepak Chahar, they really didn't really go wrong. Deepak Chahar and Harbhajan Singh opened the bowling who strangled RCB right at the top. Then the other spinners joined in and wrapped up the innings quickly. Harbhajan Singh and Tahir were the best bowlers picking up 3 wickets each, followed by 2 for Jadeja and 1 for Bravo.

Chasing 71 will not be a tough ask for CSK, and are expected to do it without too much trouble.
