REVEALED : REASON BEHIND JUST 3 OVERSEAS PLAYERS!!!

CSK's team announcement has shocked a few people. Normally every team tries to get as many overseas players as possible, but CSK have just picked 3 overseas options instead of four.

The three players picked are Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo, and Imran Tahir. They haven't gone for the likes of Faf Du Plessis, David Willey or Sam Billings.

This is probably because of the pitch that they have got at Chepauk, which is more likely to suit spin bowlers. Hence players like David Willey might not be as useful in these conditions. Hence they have gone with bowlers who can take pace off the ball like Thakur, Harbhajan, Jadeja, Bravo, and Tahir.
If Lungi Ngidi was fit, he probably would have been the strike bowler as the fourth overseas option. However, it is a bit of surprise that they haven't gone with Mohit Sharma, who they bought for Rs 5Crore.

Looks like Imran Tahir is going to be a key player on this pitch.
