According to reports, the Indian government has appointed billionaire Nandan Nilekani to assist the government in developing IT infrastructure for the National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS). Nilekani is a former UIDAI chairman, the brain behind the Aadhaar and also a member of the GST return simplification committee.
