In a shocking case from Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni city, two Muslim youths and a woman were thrashed on May 22 by cow vigilantes allegedly on the suspicion of carrying beef.

In the video played by Times Now channel, the group is seen asking the man to touch their feet and chant Jai Shri Ram. 

According to News 18 report, the police have arrested all the five accused for brutally thrashing the three victims with sticks and have identified Ram Sena Leader Shubham Baghel as one of the accused. The investigation into the case is underway.

"We came to know that Shubham Baghel had stopped one woman and two men. Baghel along with his four or five other men had beaten up these men. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. We have registered a case against all accused and five people have been arrested. They all will be sent to judicial remand soon," GS Uikey, the local police official told ANI.

Further Citing on the video, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi targeted the government and took a jibe at the government calling the incident 'secularism ki niqaab'. "This is how Muslims are treated by Vigilantes created by Modi voters welcome to a New India which will Inclusive and as @PMOIndia said Secularism Ka Niqaab," he tweeted.

The investigation into the matter is underway. While the official also told ANI that Baghel had earlier been book for his involvement in similar crimes.
