MAN GIVES WIFE TRIPLE TALAQ AS HE FOUND HER 'FAT'

According to reports, a man from Madhya Pradesh gave his wife triple-talaq as he found her fat. The man was arrested by the police.

The victim, Salma Bano, alleged that she was taunted by her husband and mother-in-law for being fat. Unable to bear their nagging, Bano took her two children and came to live at her mother's house. Reportedly, after a few days, the husband and mother-in-law visited her, beat her up and gave her 'triple talaq'.

The husband tried to snatch away their children from Bano and when she refused, he threatened to kill her. Bano went to the police and filed a complaint following which the accused was arrested.
