Gifted with a sweet and malleable
voice, she performed at the Krishna
Gana Sabha last week. The occasion
was a tribute to the late classical
vocalist, Maharajapuram Santhanam.
She sang Sanskrit and Telugu songs
of the Carnatic Trinity. Besides,
she also gave a generous spread
of Tamil songs by Papanasam Sivan.
The audience was quite astounded
at her dedication. Vijay and SAC
who were in the front row of the
audience, gave enthusiastic appreciation.
