Okay folks, here is some consolation
for those of you who are Sushmita
Sen fans. Many were quite upset
that the lady did not get to work
in as many films as her contemporary
Aishwarya Rai did. She only got
a couple of forgettable films and
a series of vamp roles. She has
also been in and out of relationships.
Meanwhile Aishwarya has climbed
new heights and has got plum assignments
here and abroad.

But
the buzz is that she still nurses a grudge
that she narrowly missed being crowned the
Miss. Universe which Sushmita was back in
1994 and had to settle for Miss. World.
The two have not had the best of friendships
and are quite cold towards each other. |

Here is another instance of the shadow
fighting. Both the beautiful ladies
have decided to work on a film based
on the life of valiant Rani Lakshmibai
although separately. Aishwarya will
play the historical role in a project
to be directed by Ketan Mehta. He
had announced the film last year.
Sushmita would produce the film in
which she would play the warrior-queen
and Manav Menon, the current beau
of Sush is rumored to be the director.
Crew for Sush’s film could include
technicians from Hollywood. |

is known to build a strong script around
the historical events as seen in Mangal
Pandey, while Sush would explore the facets
of the Rani’s personality as a mother.
So, get ready to watch a new avatar of both
the women. Interestingly, Sush shares her
birthday with Lakshmibai, November 19! |
