With Asin and Trisha not able to
give bulk dates, Director K S Ravikumar
has roped in Shreya opposite Kamal
Hassan in Dasavatharam. For Shreya,
this is a second major film in Tamil,
the first being, of course, the
Superstar’s Sivaji. One thing
special about Dasavatharam is there
is only one heroine for the ten
roles that Kamal plays. While the
shooting of Sivaji is going on at
brisk pace, the movie is expected
to release some time next year.
Surely, Shankar doesn’t want
Dasavatharam to be released before
Sivaji.

Will
Dasavataaram, then, release after Sivaji?
Yes. That is what the sources say. There
was a talk that Vidhya Balan would be playing
the lead female role but being busy in Bollywood,
the girl could not accommodate her call
sheets for Kamal. So with both Sivaji and
Dasavatharam set to release next year, it
remains to be seen which movie will push
Shreya to the top. |
