Once the shooting is over for the
day, he would pack up and then go
to the lab to see the rushes. If
he was dissatisfied with a particular
patch, he would re-shoot the same
scene the next day. Such is the
style of working of this perfectionist.
This is the reason why he takes
so many months to complete a project.
There is another aspect to his style.
He works only 15 days a month. The
other 15 days are days of rest and
relaxation. No wonder this man keeps
his cool and manages to make remarkable
movies.
