acquires Mohanlal film’s remake
rights |

year was memorable for Vikram. Anniyan was
released and notched up high in the box
office stakes. It was surely a sweet potion
for the man who had toiled for nearly two
years. Close on heels came Majaa. While
it did not exactly set the cash registers
ringing, it did reasonably well. Keeping
up his schedule now is Bheema. As the actor
who gets under the skin of the character,
Cheeyan has worked carefully to get the
exact look. |

Although there are rumors that he
has been approached by many producers
in Telugu and Hindi after the dubbed
versions of Anniyan created a new
trend, Vikram would take some more
time to make up his mind. Meanwhile,
his search for good scripts has
not ended. The actor who has done
many films in Malayalam, watched
Vadakkumnathan with Mohanlal in
the lead. So impressed was he by
the excellent script, he quietly
got the rights of the film.
