| Saran
enters Vattaram finally with Kirat |

Director
Saran just couldn’t believe that he
was unable to find a heroine to pair with
Arya in his Vattaram. He wanted a new face
that would fit the character he had in his
mind. |

Just
as he was about to sign up Tollywood
starlet Anushka, a hitch developed.
“She could not give me bulk
dates and I had to look for another
new face,” says Saran when asked
why even Anushka was out of the project.
Now Saran seems to have found the
right girl—Kirat Bhattal, a
Bombay model whom you find in the
ads for Lakme products. For Kirat
it was a piece luck out of the blue.
Bubbly and restless, she was looking
for this dream day. Saran says that
his team would work over time if needed
and complete the movie to release
this Deepavali. |

| Apart
from Arya and Kirat, the cast includes Napoleon,
Ashish Vidyarthi, Ramesh Khanna, Dhandapani,
Karthik and Vincent Asokan. Napoleon, it
is reported, plays a major role in the movie.
